giselle vanadis fox

Giselle is a collage and digital artist based in North East London. The intricacy of her collages requires hours of tenacious work with a scalpel; layering multiple images to create scenes full of colour, perspective and detail. Most of the images are sourced from back-catalogues of her New Scientist and National Geographic subscriptions, as well as any free magazines and leaflets she comes across. Many of her collages are manipulated or completed digitally to facilitate a more complete expression of her creativity.

Giselle has loved art from an early age; inspired and informed by nature, science and the interpretation of her reality and experiences. She has often been described as having a "weird" imagination, which can make for uncomfortable viewing of some works. Science-fiction and surrealism are persistent themes.
